Before taking the court against the Celtics Thursday night, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry made his mark on another basketball team.
In a surprise visit to an Under Armour store, Curry gave his signature sneakers to the boy’s basketball team of Snowden International High School, a public school on Newbury Street near Copley Square.
The Curry 4, which is listed on the Under Armour website as a best seller, has a listed price of $129.99 for the men’s pair.
The Golden State Warriors tweeted a photo on Thursday of the basketball team holding their shoes with Curry, whose daughter became an Internet sensation during the 2015 NBA playoffs when she stole the show at a postgame press conference.
