Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving, who strained his right knee in Saturday’s loss to the Clippers, will sit out against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Irving is listed as day-to-day after undergoing an MRI on Sunday. Boston returns home Wednesday to face the Pistons. Then the team will have a week off for the All-Star break, though Irving has been selected as a starter in next Sunday’s All-Star Game.
