Kansas is coming off an emphatic win over Purdue.

A look at Saturday’s NCAA regional final games:

West Regional

1. Gonzaga (35-1) vs. 11. Xavier (24-13), 6:09 p.m. (TBS): The Zags have been stretched to the limit by Northwestern and West Virginia but somehow they have survived. Now, they have a really good chance to make it to the Final Four. X has been rejuvenated in the NCAAs after finishing the regular season poorly, but this might be a little too much to ask. The Zags need to stick to their good man-to-man defense and make sure X’s Trevon Bluiett doesn’t score 35 . . . or more.

Midwest Regional

1. Kansas (31-4) vs. 3. Oregon (32-5), 8:49 p.m. (TBS): The Jayhawks obliterated a very good Purdue squad, 98-66, behind outstanding performances from senior guards Frank Mason and Devonte’ Graham. I don’t think Oregon can handle Kansas’s quickness, and the Ducks don’t have the inside play to take advantage of Kansas’s weakness.
