BC’s Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman declare for NBA Draft
Boston College basketball standouts Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman have declared for the NBA Draft, but will not hire agents to preserve their college eligibility.
Robinson, a 6-foot-6-inch junior guard, led the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring last season at 20.7 points per game. He finished runner-up for ACC Player of the Year honors and was an honorable mention selection for the Associated Press All-America team.
Robinson averaged 24.3 points per game in conference play and netted a career-high 46 points in a loss at Notre Dame Feb. 6.
Bowman led the Eagles in minutes as a sophomore. The 6-1 guard averaged 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists last season. On Dec. 9, Bowman led BC to an upset of then-No. 1 Duke with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
The NBA Draft Combine in Chicago is May 16-20. Early-entry draft candidates have until May 30 to withdraw their names from the draft list and keep NCAA eligibility.
The NBA Draft is June 21.
