Girls’ ice hockey players of the week

Players of the week

Kaleigh Finigan, St. Mary’s – The forward delivered a pair of goals to propel the Spartans in a 5-3 victory over Fontbonne. The senior leads the squad in scoring with 11 goals and 14 assists.

Nicole LaCroix, Auburn – The sophomore goalie stopped 23 shots to spearhead the Rockets’ 8-0 victory over Mansfield/Oliver Ames, the team’s first shutout in three seasons.


Emily Kelly, Norwood – The junior forward netted the game-winner with 5:50 left in the third periodin the Mustangs’ 4-3 win over Framingham.

Kelsey Ryan, Burlington – The freshman posted a hat trick and three assists in the Red Devils’ 10-2 victory over Shawsheen. The forward has 14 goals and 14 assists this season.

Dana Campbell, Needham – The goalie made 28 saves to stun Dedham, 4-2, the Rockets’ third win of the season.
