Clare Martin, Newton South, senior
Martin won individual All-State titles in the mile (4:48.88, school record) and 800 (2:10.80). The Princeton-bound senior also ran the fastest 2-mile in the nation (10:27.73), set a state record in the steeplechase (6:46.63) and took second in the 800 at New Englands (2:07.91, personal record).
Meryl Bantefa, O’Bryant, senior
Bantefa goes out on top as the best sprinter in the City League. The senior was a triple winner at the league championships, taking the 100 (12.70 seconds), 200 (26.80), and 400 (1:01.60). She is also a Globe Scholar-Athlete.
Grace Connolly, Natick, sophomore
Connolly followed up her All-American and All-Scholastic indoor season by repeating as state champion in the two mile (10:43.61). Her 10:41.79 at the Division 2 state meet broke a 40-year-old meet record.
Chloe Eressy, Dennis-Yarmouth, senior
Eressy is back as an All-Scholastic this spring after tallying third-place finishes in the shot put (39-3) and discus (117-1) at the All-State meet. She also won the discus and finished second in the shot put at the Division 3 meet.
Cameron Garabian, Seekonk, sophomore
Garabian recorded the top shot put mark in Eastern Mass., a meet-record 40-7 at the MSTCA Small School Freshman/Sophomore. The honor roll student was the All-State meet runner-up and the Division 4 meet champion.
Meg Hughes, Old Rochester, freshman
Only a freshman, Hughes stormed onto the scene for the Bulldogs. She swept the 400 at the Division 4 meet (58.22) and All-States (56.56). She also finished third in the 400 at New Englands, setting a personal record of 56.55.
Julia Jordahl-Henry, Wellesley, sophomore
Jordahl-Henry captured the New England high jump title, leaping a season-best 5-7. The sophomore also won the MSTCA Freshman/Sophomore meet and the Bay State title, and took home a thid-place finish at the All-State meet.
Anoush Krafian, Belmont, junior
Krafian took home state titles in the pentathlon (3,243 points) and the 100 hurdles (14.64). The junior added 100-hurdle wins at the State Coaches and Division 3 meets, and was named Middlesex League MVP.
Haley Lightbody, Reading, sophomore
Lightbody soared to a state title in the pole vault with a personal record (11-3). The sophomore also won the Division 2 meet (10-0), took eighth at New Englands (9-9), and captured the long jump at the Division 2 meet (17-2.5).
Jasmine McFarlane, Dennis-Yarmouth, senior
McFarlane proved to be the top discus thrower in Eastern Mass. at the All-State meet, setting a personal record of 121-8 to finish in second place. The senior was also the runner-up at the Division 3 state meet (116-11).
Elise O’Leary, Milton, sophomore
O’Leary and the Wildcats captured indoor and outdoor state titles. The sophomore and Bay State League All-Star was the Division 3 champion in the 400 (56.85). She was the runner-up in the 400 and 400 hurdles at the All-State meet.
Rachel Sessa, Tewksbury, junior
Sessa earns her third All-Scholastic honor after a state title in the 4x800 relay. She won the mile and 800 at the Division 3 meet and took second in both events at All-States. The class president was also a three-event MVC champion.
Madelyn Sessler, Plymouth South, senior
Sessler ends her impressive career with a slew of wins in the 100 hurdles. She was the Patriot League champion, Division 2 champ, and All-State runner-up. The Columbia-bound senior was also MSTCA South Heptathlon champion.
Shraeya Srinivasan, Foxborough, senior
Srinivasan could not be beat in the triple jump, as she swept the Division 3, All-State, and New England championships. The senior’s personal best came at the Hockomock championships, which she won with a leap of 40-8.5.
Shira Stoller, Sharon, junior
Stoller dominated in the javelin, winning the Hockomock Championships, the Division 2 state meet, the All-State meet, and All-New England meet. She saved the best for last, setting a personal record at the New Englands (148.8).
Saige Tudisco, Pentucket, junior
The junior earned a state long jump title (17-11.5). A week earlier, Tudisco took second at the Division 3 meet with a personal record (18-4.5). She capped the season by finishing third at the New England championships (17-11).
Brooke-Lynn Williams, Norton, senior
The queen of speed finishes her career on top. Williams won the 100 at the State Coaches, Division 4, All-State, and New England meets. She also won the 200 at the Division 4 meet and All-States. She will run at Penn State.
4 x 100: Natick
Sophomore Abigail Gerdes, junior Rachelle Parker, freshman Kylie Langan, and senior Madison Howland took home the All-State title (48.52). They also ran the fastest time in the state (48.14), good for second place at New Englands and a school record.
4 x 400: Andover
The Golden Warriors were consistently on top all season, claiming the Merrimack Valley Conference title (4:00.7), the Division 1 crown (4:01.36), and the All-State title (3:55.42). Junior Hannah Lansberry teamed with sophomores Emma Joel, Julianna Kennedy, Delia Barbanti, and Grace Dunn.
4 x 800: Tewksbury
The Redmen followed up on their indoor title, winning the relay at the All-State meet in the spring (9:21.53). UMass Lowell-bound senior Emily Sessa, freshman McKenzie Clark, Jacksonville University-bound senior Lauren Polimeno, and junior Rachel Sessa made up the team.
Division 1: Peter Comeau, Andover
Comeau earns Division 1 Coach of the Year honors for the second outdoor season in a row. The 1984 Andover graduate led his Golden Warriors to victory in the Division 1 relays before they repeated as Division 1 state champions.
Division 2: Matt Strother, Natick
Natick continues to emerge as a top contender at the state level under Strother. The Redhawks finished third at the Division 2 Relays, second at the Division 2 meet, and capped the season with a fifth-place finish at All-States.
Division 3: Fran Cusick, Tewksbury
After five years as an assistant, Cusick took the helm for the Redmen and guided them to second place at the Division 3 and All-State meets. The MVC Coach of the Year also led the Redmen to a league championship.
Division 4: Joseph Schroeder, Martha’s Vineyard
Under Schroeder, the Vineyarders made their mark in Division 4. They trekked to North Reading and finished 10th at the Division 4 relays. One month later, they took third place at the Division 4 meet in Norwell.
