Five-star basketball recruit Terrence Clarke announced Monday that he is transferring to prep power Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., for the 2018-19 school year.
A 6-foot-6-inch sophomore wing from Dorchester who is ranked No. 2 on the ESPN 25 for the Class of 2021, Clarke played his freshman season at the Rivers School in Weston, earning all-NEPSAC Class B honors.
He has already received interest from Georgetown, Indiana, Syracuse, Wake Forest, and UConn.
“I want to thank The Rivers School and entire Rivers community for taking me in and making me feel like family,” Clarke said via Twitter. “Through all the ups and downs, you continued to stand by my side, I can not thank the school enough.”
At Brewster, playing for coach Jason Smith, Clarke will join additions Jalen Lecque, who averaged 20.1 points, 9.3 assists, and 9.1 rebounds at Christ School in Arden, N.C. last season, and 6-10 Kai Jones, who is transferring from Orlando Christian Prep.
