
Once again, Fenway Park will host four high school football games Thanksgiving week.
The Globe has learned that there are two games scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 20 — Boston City League rivals Burke vs. West Roxbury Academy (5 p.m.) followed by a Hockomock League matchup between Foxborough and Mansfield at 7:30.
On Wednesday, Nov. 21, it’s a Catholic Conference game between St. John’s Prep and Xaverian at 5, followed by Bay State Conference rivals Framingham and Natick squaring off for the 113th time at 7:30.
Burke vs. West Roxbury — The City League rivals will meeting for the first time since Oct. 16, 2015. West Roxbury won in 2015, 12-6, at White Stadium in Franklin Park.
Foxborough vs. Mansfield — Their first meeting on Thanksgiving took place in 1947, a 13-7 Mansfield victory. The two schools have been battling on the gridiron since the 1920s. Mansfield has won 11 of the last 14 meetings, including 28-20 in the 2017 meeting.
St. John’s Prep vs. Xaverian —
Natick vs. Framingham — The first Natick-Framingham game was played in 1904 with Framingham shutting out Natick, 34-0. Natick has claimed 11 of the last 14 meetings, including the last six. Natick won last year’s contest, 35-6.
The four games follow the 135th edition of the The Game between Harvard and Yale at Fenway, on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Fenway hosted four games in 2015 (below) and three matchups in 2017.
