Wellesley’s Brooke Baker headlines girls’ lacrosse Players of the Week
■ Brooke Baker, Wellesley — The senior midfielder poured in six goals and an assist against Foxborough, helping the defending champion and undefeated second-ranked Raiders prevail despite an impressive showing from the No. 15 Warriors.
■ Caroline Davis, Lincoln-Sudbury — The junior played a key role in the Warriors’ 9-6 win over Concord-Carlisle on Tuesday, racking up three goals, three draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
■ Alex Finn, Westwood — Against No. 8 Franklin, Finn finished with five goals, six assists, one ground ball, and two caused turnovers for the seventh-ranked Wolverines.
■ Nikki Griffin, Walpole — Through three games, the senior attacker has four goals and 14 assists, setting her teammates up and guiding No. 4 Walpole to a 4-0 start.
■ Annie Hilsinger, Norwell — Hilsinger, a senior captain for the third-ranked Clippers, posted five goals, three assists, and four interceptions in a 17-3 win over No. 17 Medfield. She added five assists, two goals, and five interceptions against No. 15 Foxborough and three assists and two interceptions in a tight, 8-7 triumph over No. 7 Westwood this past Friday.
