Former Patriots receiver Wes Welker mentioned during a radio appearance last week that he was going to be at Sunday’s Patriots-Dolphins game to do “a little spoof deal.”
Now we know exactly what he was talking about. Welker spent part of Sunday mingling at Gillette Stadium while wearing a somewhat life-like Tom Brady mask. He was seen both in the parking lots with fans and also in the stands.
He also wore a T-shirt with the hashtag #FakeBrady and a Bleacher Report logo. Bleacher Report also posted the video below to Twitter in which Welker reveals who’s behind the mask:
