Several days after an accident left Patriots linebacker Harvey Langi and his wife, Cassidy, with serious injuries, the couple saw each other for the first time, sharing their emotional reunion in an Instagram video Wednesday.
The couple had been hospitalized at Massachusetts General Hospital after the crash, which occurred Friday night at the intersection of Commercial and Fisher streets in Foxborough. Their car had been stopped at a traffic light when they were rear ended by another car, the Patriots said in a statement Saturday.
Cassidy Langi wrote on her Instagram video Wednesday that she completely blacked out and doesn’t remember anything from the accident, but, “Harvey remembers seeing me, his wife, laying lifeless and gushing blood.”

“I just want my husband Havea to know how blessed I am to be your wife,” she wrote. “I know this is a huge trial we will be facing but I know we can get through this together, day by day.”
Langi said she and her husband still have a few days left in the hospital and are grateful for their friends and family who have visited and reached out to them.
“We are so completely blessed to have each other to lean on through all of this craziness,” she wrote.
