Patriots running back Rex Burkhead, who suffered a neck injury in Week 3 at Detroit and was placed on injured reserve, was back at Patriots practice on Thursday. The earliest he could return is Dec. 2, a home game against the Minnesota Vikings.

New England has now used their two injured reserve return spots on Burkhead and rookie cornerback Duke Dawson. Everyone else on injured reserve from here on out is done for the season, including cornerback Eric Rowe and rookie linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley.
