For the first time in 13 years, Red Sox games not airing on national television will be available over the air locally.

WFXT-TV (Channel 25) says it’s working with NESN to broadcast five games from Florida during spring training.

All broadcasts are on Thursdays.

■ Feb. 22, the traditional spring opener doubleheader against Northeastern and Boston College, 1:05 p.m.

■ March 1 against the World Series champion Astros, 1:05 p.m.

■ March 8 against the AL East rival Rays, 1:05 p.m.

■ March 15 against the Blue Jays, 1:05 p.m.

■ March 22 against the Orioles, 1:05 p.m.

The last time the Red Sox had an agreement to show games locally on over-the-air television was in 2005, when longtime TV home WSBK-TV (Channel 38) aired Friday night games. NESN has aired all games, except national broadcasts, since then.

Fox owns the national broadcast TV contract, so it’s not the first time in recent years some games will air on Channel 25.
