The Red Sox claimed their ninth World Series championship with a 5-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5. In addition to the star power on the field Sunday night, there were also plenty of notable names in the stands, on the Dodger Stadium big screen, and watching the action unfold at home.

Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel renewed their long-standing feud at the ballpark, while Larry Bird and Magic Johnson provided a pregame spark when they did the same in a video aired on the JumboTron.

When Chris Sale fired the final strike of the 2018 Red Sox season, many fellow athletes, musicians, and politicians took to Twitter to congratulate one of the best teams to ever play the game.
