Notes: The Sox went 3-3 in their first homestand of the season. They have won three of their last five and four of their last seven . . . Tuesday night marks the start of a five-game road trip. After two games in the Bronx, the Sox head to Florida for a three-game series against the MLB-leading Rays. Then they return home for a 10-game homestand that features series against Detroit, Tampa Bay, and Oakland . . . Boston is 3-3 against teams from the AL East, while New York is 4-2 against the AL East . . . The Sox are winless (0-6) when they don’t homer. They are hitting a collective .236, led by J.D. The only other Sox players to do that in the last 50 years: Dustin Pedroia (2013), Manny Ramirez (2010), Mo Vaughn (1998), and Wade Boggs (1983) . . . Betts leads the Sox with four outfield assists; he had five all of last season.
