Revolution release 2018 schedule

The Revolution have a new head coach in Brad Friedel (center).

Major League Soccer released its schedule for the 2018 regular season, and the Revolution will open March 3 against the Philadelphia Union in Chester, Pa.

New England’s home opener is March 10, against the Colorado Rapids. Four of the Revolution’s first six games will be at Gillette Stadium.

The Revolution host reigning MLS champion Toronto FC on May 12. The team wraps up its 34-match regular-season slate Oct. 28, at home against Montreal.


All Revolution games will be broadcast on NBCSB, except for two nationally televised matches: Aug. 19 at D.C. United (FS1), and Oct. 6 at Atlanta United (Univision).

The MLS season includes a nine-day break from June 14-22 for the World Cup in Russia.
