Scott LaPierre is senior multimedia journalist at The Boston Globe, with a focus on video. He covers news and features, and is a frequent collaborator with the Globe Spotlight Team. He has covered everything from the Summer Olympics in Beijing to the mental health crisis in local prisons. A video he edited on the Boston Marathon bombings was part of the Globe’s winning 2014 Pulitzer Prize submission. His work has received seven National Murrow Awards, nine New England Emmy Awards, and numerous other national and regional awards.
