Dina Rudick

Dina Rudick has been a photojournalist at the Boston Globe since graduating from Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication in 2002. Since then, her job has taken her around the world in pursuit of breaking news as well as investigative stories. These days, she is as likely to be working with models for a spring fashion shoot, documenting a tornado’s destructive path through one of our communities, or producing a video for one of our Spotlight investigations.

Outside of her responsibilities at the Globe, Rudick spends her time running, drinking very strong coffee, and working a small organic farm with her husband and two (productivity-inhibiting, yet adorable) children.

Three-alarm blaze destroys Ashland home

By , Globe Staff

An Ashland family vacationing in the Carolinas got a call that a three-alarm blaze destroyed their home this morning, according to the Ashland Fire Department. “It went to three alarms pretty quickly,” said Peter Chisholm, spokesman for the fire department. The fire was reported at 6:20 a.m. when a passerby noticed the shooting flames, he said. Firefighters had to battle the blaze from outside of the house because the fire was so massive, Chisholm said.
