Ben Volin joined the Globe in 2013 as the national NFL reporter, with a focus on the Patriots. During his tenure in Boston, Volin has covered two Patriots Super Bowl runs, Deflategate, and the Aaron Hernandez murder saga.

A graduate of Emory University with an MBA from the University of Florida, Volin previously spent eight years at the Palm Beach Post, where he covered the Miami Dolphins and Florida Gators.
