Agency Oasis, a Boston-based digital marketing agency, is being acquired by Chicago-based Rightpoint. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Both companies help their clients promote products and services on the Web, mobile devices and social networks. Agency Oasis, founded in 2001,
has about 100 employees and additional offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, San Francisco and Dallas. Agency Oasis represents a variety of high-profile clients, including the pharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences Inc.,the health-care services firm IMS Health Inc. and insurer Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Rightpoint employs about 200 people in Chicago. The two companies expect combined 2016 revenue of $65 million.
