Three Connecticut 20-somethings were charged with disorderly conduct for throwing beer bottles at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island beach house and flipping the bird at her security guard. The Westerly Police Department put out a statement Wednesday saying that Emily E. Kading, 26, Tristan J. Kading, 28, and Michael Horrigan, 29, were taken into custody after the security guard told police that they had thrown the bottles and “extended their middle fingers in his direction.” They were eventually released and will appear in court. Swift bought the oceanfront home last year. She posted a sign near the property that says, “I knew you were trouble when you walked in. NO TRESPASSING.”
