Some of the city’s celebrated chefs prepared savory treats at the MFA this week to support Joslin Diabetes Center’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative. Joining Joslin CEO Dr. Peter Amenta were, among others, Joanne Chang of Myers & Chang (and Flour), Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger (and Blue Dragon), Summer Shack’s Jasper White, and “Top Chef” contestant and Myers & Chang executive chef Karen Akunowicz. Emceed by WBUR’s Meghna Chakrabarti, the event honored Joslin’s Dr. William Hsu and Bik-Fung Ng.
