West Bridgewater spa shut down in prostitution inquiry

A West Bridgewater spa has been shut down following a raid Tuesday by police and agents of the US Department of Homeland Security, West Bridgewater police said. The raid was prompted by an undercover officer being offered sex for a fee at the 888 Spa, police said. Police said they had also inspected and fined the spa in July after developing evidence that the spa at 888 West Center St. was offering sexual activity between massages and operating without a proper license, police said.
