For the past two days, Massachusetts prosecutors have been wearing black ribbons in solidarity with the prosecutors recently killed in Texas, the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association said. “It is a very small gesture but it reflects our deep sympathy for the family, friends and colleagues of [District Attorney] Mike McLelland, his wife, Cynthia, and Assistant District Attorney [Mark] Hasse, who was murdered in January,” Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett said in a statement.
