A 79-year-old man died after his vehicle rolled over in Brimfield, police say. The man was driving east on Route 20 at about 4:30 p.m. Monday when he lost control of his car, officials say. The car went up an embankment, struck a guard rail, and rolled over until it landed upright. The victim was apparently not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. He was taken to Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s name has not been made public. The cause is under investigation.
