Man and dog escape fiery crash on Route 24 in Brockton, State Police say

A 20-year-old man and his dog are safe after their vehicle rolled over and was engulfed in flames on Route 24 in Brockton early Monday, State Police said. Troopers responded to the northbound lanes of Route 24, just south of Exit 17, at 6:08 a.m., where they found a Saturn sedan rolled over and in flames, State Police said. The driver, a Taunton man, and his dog were able to exit the car safely before troopers arrived, State Police said. The man was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
