2 arrested, 3d ID’d in MBTA bleach attack

Two women have been arrested and a third has been identified in an attack on an MBTA bus in Boston in which the suspects allegedly threw bleach on a man’s face and then robbed him, according to the MBTA Transit Police Department. Police have arrested 22-year-old Lai Lawnnie Douglas of Boston and an underage suspect, and have identified a third suspect, according to a statement from Transit Police. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. June 9 on a Route 28 bus on Blue Hill Avenue. Transit Police had released photos of the three suspects, asking the public’s help to identify them. The investigation is ongoing, Transit police said.
