A woman was severely burned during a two-alarm fire in Winchester on Wednesday morning, officials said. The fire broke out at about 10:20 a.m. at The Gables at Winchester, a senior living community at 299 Cambridge St., said John M. Guilfoil, a spokesman for the Winchester Fire Department. One resident of The Gables, a woman in her 60s who was not identified, was severely burned and taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, Guilfoil said. No one else was injured.
