Harvard students block building in protest

Several dozen Harvard students again planted themselves in front of the main entrance to the campus administrative building Wednesday morning to push for the university to divest from fossil fuel interests. Members of Divest Harvard posted a banner that read “The Tide is Turning” on the side of Massachusetts Hall. The students are also protesting the recent hiring of Thomas Hollister as the school’s newest chief financial officer. Hollister was once chief operating officer and financial chief for Global Partners LP, a company that distributes oil and gasoline.
