A Lynn man was ordered held without bail Monday on charges that he murdered two people and tried to kill a third person last week in a Revere multifamily home.
Michael DeLeon, 36, was arrested by Revere and State Police Friday, one day after he allegedly shot and killed Peter T. Pitari, 66, and Cristy A. Johnson, 35, inside a Waite Street building Thursday night.
A third person, a 38-year-old man, was also shot but has survived his wounds, according to Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley's office, which is prosecuting DeLeon.
DeLeon appeared in Chelsea District Court for an arraignment Monday, and is scheduled to return to court Jan. 20.
His was one of two arraignments Monday relating to homicides in Revere.
Juan "Juanito" Gaviria, 18, was also ordered held without bail at a Chelsea court appearance.
In that case, Gaviria — whose name has also been listed as Gaviria-Jiminez — is accused in the January shooting death of 18-year-old Andres Jaramillo.
Authorities are still searching for a suspect in that case. Luis "Lito" Urbaez, 30, was indicted last week along with Gaviria-Jimenez, but he remains at large.
Urbaez and Gaviria allegedly shot Jaramillo as he sat in a Honda Accord on Garfield Avenue with another teen.
The suspects had been looking for the other teen after he was in a fight with Gaviria, according to the Suffolk district attorney's office.
Gaviria is due back in court Jan. 14.
Anybody who knows where Urbaez is should call Revere police at 781-284-1212 or the Suffolk County State Police detective unit at 617-727-8817, authorities said.
