N.H. man shot by police dies

The New Hampshire man shot by police officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance call Thursday night in Merrimack has died, authorities said. A news release from state Attorney General Joseph Foster said that an autopsy conducted Saturday on Harrison Lambert, who died Friday evening, determined he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said the 23-year-old Lambert was armed with a knife when he was shot by one of two officers responding to a domestic disturbance call about a man threatening his father. Foster said the incident remains under investigation.
