A new fund-raising group, Lowell Musicians for Jeff Bauman, will host a benefit for the 27-year-old Chelmsford resident who was severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombings. Doors will open for Support Jeff Bauman Night at 6 p.m. on May 5 at The Village Smokehouse, 98 Middle St., Lowell. At least five area bands will perform. Admission is $10; the event is for ages 21 and over and will be hosted by Jack Baldwin of WCAP radio.
