Neither Brad Marchand nor Anders Bjork will travel with the Bruins to Anaheim, Calif., Monday afternoon. Both were held out of practice because of undisclosed injuries.
Coach Bruce Cassidy said Marchand was nicked up Saturday against Toronto. Bjork took an open-ice wallop from Matt Martin in the second period of that game. Neither has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Ducks in Anaheim.
Because of those injuries, the Bruins will bring up reinforcements from Providence.
After Wednesday’s game, the Bruins face the Kings in Los Angeles Thursday, then the Sharks in San Jose Saturday.
David Krejci (back) practiced in a noncontact jersey Monday, although he did not complete the session. The center will make the trip and is considered day-to-day. Considering he has yet to participate in a full practice since incurring this injury, Krejci’s availability for Wednesday against Anaheim is in question.
Jake DeBrusk, a healthy scratch Saturday for the first time this season, is likely to return to the lineup against the Ducks.
