Six votes. Six votes! That is what made the difference so that Oleana could edge out Myers + Chang as the 2017 winner of Munch Madness. This could be the tightest race in the history of the competition.
Oleana, the well-loved Cambridge icon, has been serving up Turkish flavors and exciting spices from James Beard award-winning chef Ana Sortun for 16 years. Guess they’re still fierce competitors.
Congrats are also in order to Myers + Chang, the dim sum diner from restaurateurs Christopher Myers and Joanne Chang, for not only making it to the finals, but coming within so few votes. The beloved South End standby is still beloved.
