The NHL announced Tuesday that the Bruins-Canadiens game scheduled for Jan. 12 at the Bell Centre in Montreal instead will be played at TD Garden in Boston.

The league announced that the move is due to current attendance restrictions in certain Canadian cities.

A makeup date for a future Canadiens home game against the Bruins will be set later, according to the NHL.
