Two people were hospitalized after a train hit a car on the railroad tracks Friday in Clinton, police said.
Around 6 a.m., a CSX train hit the car near the intersection of Sterling Street and Depot Square, police said.
Photos show the car sustained considerable damage. CSX did not immediately respond to request for comment.
It was not immediately clear whether the car was parked or moving at the time of the crash.
Two people inside the car were hospitalized, police said. Information about their condition was not available.
