The Bruins on Tuesday re-signed winger John Farinacci to a one-year, two-way contract with an NHL salary cap hit of $775,000.
The former Harvard standout spent the majority of the last two seasons with Providence, where he collected 22 goals and 76 points in 129 AHL games.
Farinacci was called up for the Bruins’ final game of the 2024-25 season and scored a goal in an overtime loss to the Devils.
A fleet-footed forechecker with a quick release, Farinacci will bid for a varsity spot when camp opens in September. He has followed in the footsteps of his uncle, Ted Donato, and cousin, Ryan Donato, both of whom also starred at Harvard before making their NHL debuts with the Bruins.
