Firefighters responded to a partial building collapse in East Boston early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1:15 a.m., crews were dispatched to 57 Webster St. after a wall apparently gave way, leaving a gaping hole in the building’s brick exterior.
Photos posted on social media by the Boston Fire Department showed a large hole in the third floor of the brick building.
The building was vacant at the time, officials said. The adjacent building at 55 Webster St. was evacuated.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
The building is a two-family home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, according to assessing records.
