MBTA Blue Line delays caused by a power issue were resolved on Wednesday evening, according to an update posted on X.
Shortly before 5:00 p.m., the MBTA posted that regular service resumed between Wonderland and Orient Heights with delays.
Shuttle buses that ran between the stations were beginning to phase out, the post said.
A stretch of the MBTA’s Blue Line was out of service on Wednesday afternoon as crews repaired a power issue near the tracks at Suffolk Downs station, officials said.
“We thank our riders for their patience as we address work needed at Suffolk Downs,” an MBTA spokesperson said.
It was not immediately clear when train service would resume. The MBTA warned riders to expect delays.
