SCORE: Braves 10, Red Sox 1.

BREAKDOWN: Brayan Bello looked ready for the season, pitching five shutout innings. He allowed four hits, struck out seven without a walk and retired the final seven batters he faced. In his last three games (counting the WBC) he has allowed one earned run over 13 innings and struck out 16. “I feel like the work I did early in camp paid off for me to be more consistent in the [strike] zone,” Bello said via a translator. The Sox lost a 1-0 lead in the sixth inning when Matt Olson hit a two-run homer off Tyler Uberstine. Minor league lefty Matt Sansone allowed six runs in the eighth inning. The Sox were held to three hits by five Braves pitchers.
NEXT: The Sox host the Twins at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday. Garrett Crochet is the scheduled starter. The game will be on NESN.
