A woman and a teenage boy were found dead in a home in Acton Tuesday night, and a search is underway for another teen boy who lives at the home, law enforcement officials said.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said officials are “asking for the public’s help,” to locate 17-year-old Arjun Aravind.
Aravind is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He is believed to be driving a 2014 Green Honda Accord with license plate 34P D94.
“We are advising that any member of the public who sees either (the teen) or the vehicle, do not approach,” Ryan said at a late night press briefing at the Acton police station. “Instead, immediately call 911.”
The home is at 1 Martha Lane, where police responded Tuesday evening to a request for a well-being check, Acton Police Chief Douglas Sturniolo said at the briefing.
The victims were not immediately identified.
A large police presence was at the scene for much of Tuesday and are expected to be on the scene for several more hours, officials said.
Residents of the area should expect an increased police presence in the area, officials said.
State Police investigators assigned to Ryan’s office and Acton police are investigating, the statement said.
No further information was immediately available.
