WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Still perfect.

JJ Peterka scored with 1:39 left in overtime Friday night to give the Bruins a 4-3 victory over the Jets at Canada Life Centre.

It was the second straight game winner for Peterka, Boston’s prized offseason acquisition.

Trailing, 3-2, the Bruins (2-0) tied it on Elias Lindholm’s goal with less than two minutes left and Jeremy Swayman pulled for the extra attacker.

Boston lost a 2-1 lead when Kyle Connor connected 16 seconds after Lindholm was whistled for tripping early in the second period and Mario Ferraro struck with just 8 seconds left in the middle period.

Ferraro, the former UMass standout, ripped one from the blue line past Swayman while the arena’s clocks were not working.

With the barn at full throat from the get-go, Winnipeg struck first when Dylan DeMelo unleashed a bomb from the blue line that beat Swayman (30 saves) high to the stick side.

After a spirited bout between Boston’s Mark Kastelic and Tyrel Bauer (making his NHL debut), the Bruins found their legs and beat Winnipeg’s Stuart Skinner twice.

First, it was a Hampus Lindholm blue line knuckler that handcuffed Skinner (26 saves) followed by James Hagens’s first career goal — a doorstep job set up by Kastelic.

The Bruins will be right back to work Saturday night against the Wild in Minnesota.
