A person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in the area of Downtown Crossing Friday night, according to Boston police.
Officers responded to Tremont Street and Temple Place around 10:55 p.m. for a report of an ongoing assault and battery, said Michael Torigian, a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department. EMS and Homicide Detectives were then called to the scene.
It’s unclear if the assailant had already fled by the time police arrived, and Torigian did not provide clarification Saturday afternoon. No arrests have yet been made.
The incident remains under investigation.
