The Campaign for Catholic Schools, a fund-raising effort to rebuild Catholic schools in Greater Boston’s urban neighborhoods, celebrated its fifth anniversary with a gathering at Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy in Dorchester. Hill Holliday founder Jack Connors and Cardinal Sean O’Malley said the effort had raised more than $68 million, and that doesn’t include a just-announced anonymous donation of $7.5 million. Guests at the event included Shields Health Care’s Tom Shields, the Yawkey Foundation’s John Harrington, Adage Capital’s Bob Atchinson, state Secretary of Education Matt Malone, former Hill Holiday CEO Mike Sheehan, and Tracy Campion of Campion and Co.
