Got a Boston accent? ‘Ted 2’ wants you
Boston Casting had an open call Wednesday for people with thick Boston accents and “tough guy types, like the guys you find in Revere, Eastie, Southie, etc.” We assume that casting agents are on the hunt for talent for “Ted 2,” because director Seth MacFarlane tweeted that production on the comedy sequel has commenced. “Ted 2 begins,” was MacFarlane’s simple tweet on Thursday. Mark Wahlberg will star in the film alongside a new leading lady, Amanda Seyfried. The “Mean Girls” and “Dear John” actress happened to be in the Bay State over the weekend. She posted a picture of herself paddleboarding in Williamstown, not far from where her boyfriend, actor Justin Long, is starring in “Living on Love” at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. His production ends July 26.
