Now we know why Isabella Rossellini and Diane Ladd have been hanging out together in Boston: they are on the expanded cast list for “Joy,” the David O. The movie tells the story of Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano, who’ll be played be Lawrence. (We
also see on the Internet Movie Database that Isabella Crovetti-Cramp will play a younger Mangano.) Twentieth Century Fox says the film will be released on Christmas. Production was spotted north of Boston on Wednesday. Twitter user @oheffy1234 reported, “Just saw Robert De Niro pass us in a black Cadillac . . . in Newbury Mass on the way to shoot ‘Joy’ down the road from our house.”
