A buff Krasinski appears in Men’s Health

Newton native John Krasinski shows off his build in the new issue of Men's Health. "I think there's a part of you where you become addicted to it," he tells the magazine, of working out. "I love feeling strong. You pick up your daughter with ease while everyone else makes a little grunt when they pick up their kids. I walk with better posture and a little more presence. I was more of a sit-in-the-corner guy. Now I'm a lot less of that." Krasinski's new regimen stems from his role in "13 Hours," which is based on local author Mitchell Zuckoff's book about Benghazi. There will be a lot of media for Krasinski leading up to the release of the Michael Bay film. On Tuesday, the actor was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to talk about how he pranked the late-night host for the holidays. This year, Krasinski littered Kimmel's dressing room with holiday decor, and hiring a pants-less Santa Claus to scale Kimmel's office window. Kimmel had the last word, though. He surprised Krasinski by telling him that he'd advertised a yard sale at the actor's real home address for 6 a.m. the next day.
