More than 400 Boston College students, alumni, and guests gathered in the school's Robsham Theater Thursday evening for the second annual Council for Women of Boston College Colloquium. Democratic National Committee interim chair Donna Brazile (left) and political commentator Mary Matalin (center) were the guests of honor at the event, where — in a conversation titled "Women in Washington: Political Leadership Today" — they discussed this year's election, politics, leadership, and women with moderator Paula Ebben, WBZ News coanchor and a BC alumna. Last year, the colloquium featured Madeleine Albright, former secretary of state.
