Lady Gaga (inset), who’ll headline the Super Bowl halftime show next month in Houston, is expected to tour next summer and we’re told a date at Fenway Park is a distinct possibility. Nothing’s official — yet — but the folks at Live Nation are working on it. Gaga is set to hit the road to promote her latest LP, “Joanne,” which dropped in October. The pop star last performed ’round these parts in 2015, when she and Tony Bennett shared the stage at Tanglewood.
Fenway hosted more concerts last summer than ever before, and 2017 is shaping up to be busy again. Live Nation will announce this week that Billy Joel is returning to friendly Fenway next summer, making the 67-year-old Piano Man the first act to perform at the ballpark four consecutive years. Previously announced shows include Dead & Company on June 17 and 18, New Kids on the Block with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men on July 8, and James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt on Aug. 11.
