Gary K. Wolf — the man who created Roger Rabbit — is downsizing and getting rid of a lot of his stuff, and an estate sale will be held at his Brookline home on Friday.
Chris Jordan of Best Rate Cleanouts and Estate Sales says Wolf has already moved out of the house and there are plenty of collectibles to choose from. “He autographed all of the Roger Rabbit memorabilia,” said Jordan. In addition to Roger Rabbit posters, cups, toys, books, ashtrays, and balloons, there’s an autographed Wes Welker jersey up for grabs (signed by Welker — not Wolf), a basketball signed by Boston Celtics (including Larry Bird, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale), and an assortment of artwork, weather vanes, antique furniture, comic books, oriental rugs, clothing, handbags, craft and quilt making supplies, tools, and other knickknacks. The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1 Wellington Terrace. For more information and to view additional photos of the items, visit www.bestratecleanouts.com.
